FAQ
At Sippette, we don’t do ordinary. We’re here to turn every pop, pour and party into a full-blown moment. Whether you’re hosting, gifting, or just vibing, we believe in one rule only: make every sip iconic. Below is everything you need to know before the party starts.
Our covers have been specifically designed and tested with the following 750ml champagne bottles:
Veueve Clicquot
G.H. Mumm
Moet & Chandon
The nature of the material we use for our covers is that it shrinks smoothly to fit, so it will work on smaller bottles, however we can't guarantee the label placement windows will work correctly.
For more tips on how to apply our covers see our HOW TO page.

Please note that Sippette Champagne Covers are designed for DIY application — because honestly, part of the fun is the glow-up.
For best results, we recommend following our installation guide and using warm air from a hair dryer or hot water to shrink the cover into its perfect, luxe fit.
Every bottle shape is a little different (just like every celebration), so results may vary depending on technique, heat source, and bottle style.
Sippette covers are a DIY product, which means the final finish is in your hands. We provide instructions and tips, but we can’t guarantee individual application outcomes. By purchasing, you acknowledge that the installation process — and the iconic results — are your responsibility.
Now go forth and make that bottle shine
At Sippette, our goal is to create an easy, elevated way to personalise and gift bottles without the need for multiple decorative items or complex DIY personalisation methods.
Material Choice
Sippette Champagne Covers are made from PET plastic. PET was selected because it allows for a clean, consistent heat-shrink application without adhesives, mixed materials, glitter coatings or metallic elements that are more difficult to recycle.
PET can be placed into soft-plastic recycling streams, where these services are available.
Designed to Reduce Excess Packaging
Bottles are commonly gifted using a combination of items such as:
- Gift bags
- Tissue paper
- Ribbons
- Decorative fillers
- Stick-on pearls, glitter, vinyl decals and other embellishments
Many of these materials contain mixed plastics, inks, adhesives or coatings that cannot be recycled and often create multiple waste streams.
Sippette covers are designed to replace all of these items with one lightweight recyclable sleeve, reducing overall material volume while still creating a decorative, gift-ready finish.
Waste Considerations
The sleeves contain no adhesives, glitter, metals or mixed-material components. Once removed from the bottle, they can be placed into soft-plastic recycling where those programs operate. Recycling capabilities vary by region, and we encourage customers to follow their local guidelines.
Continuous Review
As a small Australian business, we regularly review materials, suppliers and processes to ensure we are making responsible, considered choices within the scope of our product category. We continue to monitor developments in materials, recycling technology and packaging innovations.
Questions
Customers are welcome to contact us if they require further information. For broader inquiries regarding environmental policy, plastics management or national recycling frameworks, we encourage engagement with relevant government and industry bodies who oversee these systems at scale.
